Is MPS 35 helpful as a free radical scavenger?  Yes.  Because MPS 35 acts throughout the body and cells, both extracellular and intracellular, its effects are penetrating the bodies' structures.  It is a free radical scavenger and its ability to move freely throughout the body makes it a particularly important product.  It may be used with symptoms of cancer, Parkinson's Disease, heart disease, and arteriosclerosis.  It is also good at promoting the detoxification of your system that may occur from environmental pollutants.  Remember, if a cell is damaged due to virus, bacteria, trauma, oxidative stress, or toxins you have free radical damage.  The cell does not regenerate properly.  It may become a cancer cell.  The Macrophage are the quality control cells that make sure that these improperly generated cells are rejected by the body.

According to Michael Lerner in his paper Herbal Therapies for Cancer, “… in a pair of studies carried out at the Pasteur Institute in Madagascar in 1980 and 1981, researchers found that mice given a hypodermic injection of unrefined Aloe extract were protected against infection caused by the bacteria Klebsiella pneumoniae, Listeria monocytogenes and Yersinia pestis, Plasmodium berghei parasites, and Candida albicans fungus. In the first study carried out with Klebsiella pneumoniae, direct bactericidal activity was not detected, indicating that the aloe fraction was a non-specific immunostimulant. The anti infectious activity was proportional to the dose of extract injected, the protective power being greatest when the mice were treated with aloe two or three days prior to infection. The injected mice developed resistance multiplied from thirtyfold to a hundredfold.”

Will MPS 35 affect my Immune System?  Yes.  This product is an immune enhancement product known as an adaptogen (modulator).  The immune system is composed of innate and adaptive defense mechanisms.  MPS will restore the communication systems with Galactose and mannose and other phytonutrients, allowing the body to do its job properly.  The innate system goes looking for pathogens, such as virus, bacteria and other toxins.  The adaptive system decides what to do once the pathogen is found.  There are Suppressor molecules that need to be activated to keep the body from attacking itself and MPS opens the communication pathways for this to activate.  For those with the symptoms from AIDS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, auto-immune diseases, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, heart disease, cancer, various infectious diseases, chemical and pollutant exposure, and other diseases related to the aging process, we find that this product will enhance the body’s immune system and the body will react appropriately to ameliorate the symptoms.  The molecule directly activates the Macrophage and this passes through the liver.  The increased phagocytosis by macrophage creates a greater destruction of cells that are damaged or infected.  Interleukin and interferon levels in the body increase and then the response of T-Cells and Monocytes are increased.  This increases the growth of new cells both inside and outside of the body causing more rapid healing and the anti-pathogenic effect. 

Additionally, it is believed that the product promotes the shutdown of blood supply to tumors, aiding in their destruction.  Suppressor cells that may not be activated become activated.  The body then knows to stop attacking itself. Per Lerner,  “Aloe also decreases thromboxane production by platelets in vitro. Thromboxane is produced by platelets and enhances platelet aggregation, which under normal circumstances is the process by which blood clots and wounds begin to heal. But this same coagulation process can also thicken the blood and promote the arrest of cancer cells that have broken loose from tumors to become lodged at distant sites, which is a critical step in the metastatic process. As an anticoagulant, aloe might inhibit tumor cell arrest at potential metastatic sites.”  Additionally he quoted from a study done by Harris that “It is believed that acemannan (the MPS molecule) exerts its anti-tumor activity through macrophage activation and the release of tumor necrosis factor, interleukin-1, and interferon.”

Does MPS 35 aid patients with diabetes?  Yes.  MPS 35 promotes the reduction of blood sugar for Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes.  According to Lerner, “The rate of gluconeogenesis in isolated hepatocytes [liver cells] as well as activity of [key gluconeogenic enzymes] in liver homogenates [finely shredded tissue] is significantly lowered following treatment with the plants extract...It is concluded that the anti-diabetic action of the plants extract may, at least partly, be mediated through decreased hepatic gluconeogenesis.”

What do doctors have to say about this product?  I found this product to be very effective in treating my patients for a variety of conditions.  There does not seem to be any adverse reactions.  Toxins are eliminated by the body and I see improvement in my patients.  Their symptoms are affected greatly over time.  It is important for those with serious conditions to follow the instructions on the dosage sheet.  Consulting with your health care provider is always recommended for those taking prescriptions or with serious conditions.  I use the product for patients with cancer, AIDS, Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, arthritis, Parkinson's Disease, heart and arterial conditions, digestive function diseases, infectious disease, liver disease, varicose veins, pollutant allergies and asthma.  It works extremely well, for example, on ulcerative conditions throughout the digestive tract providing quick relief of symptoms and promoting healing in the process.  As a free radical scavenger it has been very useful as a companion treatment for cancer patients and patients with other toxic conditions.  I highly recommend the product.  Let me give you some examples of patients that I have treated for various ailments.

I have a little boy, he is only 8, who is a patient.  Imagine being 8 years old and having asthma so badly that you have been on inhalers and other prescription medicine since the age of 2!!  This child was restricted in activity and could not do all of the things the other boys could do.  It caused him more problems than just the physical condition alone.  I treated him with this product for 6 weeks and he became symptom free!  Now he is off of his prescriptions, on a maintenance dose, and out playing with the other children.  It has made such a difference in his life.  And speaking of children, this product is just a blessing for mothers and small children.  Many children have suffered with cholic and other chronic disorders or repeating infectious disease.  When used with these infants and small children, there is a rapid response.  I recommend using it in water or with Infalinic.

SUGGESTED ADULT DOSAGES FOR CHRONIC SERIOUS HEALTH SYMPTOMS

The suggested ADULT dose for starting on the MPS 35 is to use one-quarter teaspoon with four ounces of good spring water on the first day.  Be sure to stir the powder into the water till it is mixed thoroughly.  Take on an empty study upon rising.  Do not have any liquid or food for one half hour after taking this. 

When there is a chronic, serious situation, therapeutic doses should be determined by your physician or health care provider.   Do not exceed 3 teaspoons daily unless used in initial load dosing.  When load dosing, be sure to drink plenty of water and get extra rest.  If you are taking more than one teaspoon, take the dosage several hours apart.  For example, a three-teaspoon dose may be spread out over the course of the entire day.

MPS 35 evokes immune modulating effects.  As a result you may notice detoxification occurs.  During this period, you may lower or stabilize the dosage until you notice the detoxification leveling off.  When you have therapeutic effect that is noticeable, or when you feel your dose is too high, it is appropriate to lower the dose.  It is best to stay on high doses until you are certain that there is considerable improvement in serious situations.  Consider using pH Plus in your water throughout the day in order to aid in flushing toxins from the system more quickly.

If there is no serious health issue to consider, you may wish to take one teaspoon daily for rejuvenation.  Maintenance doses range from 1/4 to 1 teaspoon.
